In Atea, we are proud to be one of the Nordics largest IT companies. Here, you will find some of the most dedicated hearts and fastest minds in the IT industry. Our colleagues are passionate about building the future with IT and making Atea “The Place to Be”.

About the role:

Join our Business Automation Solutions team, where we design, build, and operate modern automation platforms that drive reliability, security, and efficiency across both customer and internal environments.

Our mission is to eliminate manual, error-prone operations by transforming them into scalable, secure, and observable automation. We work across cloud, infrastructure, and security domains to reduce risk, enable compliance, and accelerate delivery through automation-first principles.

This specific role helps create the structure and clarity the team needs to deliver consistently and with high quality. You will work closely with both the developers and the team manager to secure momentum and progress in our deliveries, by removing impediments, strengthening agile practices, improving collaboration, and maintaining a well-prepared backlog.

This is a 1.5-year temporary postion, with the possibility of extension.

Work location: Drammen in Norway or Copenhagen in Denmark.

The team

The team consists of highly skilled specialists in automation, development, testing, and agile practices, working collaboratively across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Latvia.

We work within the Scrum framework, emphasizing strong feedback loops and continuous improvement—both as a team and as individuals. We believe that learning comes from experimentation, so we encourage trying new ideas and view mistakes as opportunities togrow. By supporting, challenging, and inspiring each other, we continuously push ourselves and the team forward.

A strong team spirit and culture are important to us, so we regularly meet virtually to build relationships and collaborate effectively. In addition, the team meets physically minimum once a year.

What you’ll work on:

  • Facilitating Scrum ceremonies and strengthening Agile ways of working within the team
  • Supporting predictable delivery by managing dependencies, removing impediments, and improving team collaboration
  • Ensuring the product backlog is well-structured, refined, and ready for implementation
  • Driving continuous improvement in both delivery processes and team collaboration

Who you are:

  • You have experience with software development or automation, either through studies or profession
  • You have a fundamental understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and iterative product development
  • Comfortable collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

We welcome applications from newly graduated candidates and professionals at an early stage of their career.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile delivery teams
  • Experience working in platform-based environments (e.g., ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms)
  • Experience with automation, workflow platforms, or digital process transformation
  • Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Experience working in distributed or cross-country Agile teams
