Do you want to go beyond handling incidents – and instead eliminate the root causes behind them?

At Atea Managed Services, you will play a key role in improving the stability and quality of complex IT services delivered to some of the largest organizations in the Nordics. This is a role where you turn insight into action and recurring issues into lasting improvements.

About the role

As a Problem Manager, your main objective is to reduce recurring issues and improve service stability by identifying and eliminating root causes.

  • learning how Problem Management is practiced within Atea
  • gaining insight into how we deliver services to our customers

Work location: Drammen

What your week typically looks like

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with technical teams
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration (infrastructure, applications, vendors) to drive investigation and resolution
  • Run weekly problem reviews and governance forums to ensure progress
  • Ensure workarounds and permanent fixes are implemented through Change Management
  • Perform trend analysis to identify recurring patterns and prevent future incidents
  • Drive proactive problem management by identifying risks early
  • Track KPIs and report insights to leadership to ensure continuous improvement

What success looks like

You will succeed in this role if you:

  • are motivated by eliminating recurring issues and creating lasting improvements
  • collaborate effectively with technical experts and build strong relationships
  • can drive progress across complex environments with multiple stakeholders
  • communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • take ownership and ensure that identified problems actually get resolved

At Atea, a successful Problem Manager focuses on removing recurring pain from the organization by turning incidents into stable, permanent improvements.
