Client Outsourcing
Atea will be responsible for If’s client platform in the Nordic countries. Atea will provide PC’s, local networks and local servers to If’s 200 sites around the Nordics. If gets a modern and efficient client platform with Windows 7 at a fixed monthly fee. In addition, Atea delivers helpdesk services and operation of local networks. Some of the measures taken will be client virtualization, continuously patching, self services, automation and application management and local services. The agreement will have effect as from January 1, 2011.
Unified Communication
Atea is also responsible for delivering Unified Communication and IP telephony solution to If. The solution enables efficient communication and convenient collaboration, as well internally, as with If’s customers. The platform integrates services as presence, quick messages, video- and web-conferences and connections between traditional telephony, ”soft phones” and mobile telephony in one single interface. Atea will, also in this case, provide operation services for five years.

We have now decided to change our whole communication platform into a modern UC solution. We have chosen Atea because of their have good references and because they have proven to us in practice that the solution works,” says Adam Harhoff, Head of IT Services in If.
Product Supplies
If has for several years engaged Atea’s services for lifecycle management and environmental handling for IT products and purchases hardware and software products through Atea’s eSHOP delivered to all sites in the Nordic countries. This way, If saves time and money.
