(Denmark) July 2. 2007 – Today TOPNORDIC A/S welcomes 35 new employees. The employees are technicians and experts within the field of fibre optic communication in Cablux, which is a market leader in optical fibre technology in Denmark. TOPNORDIC, which already has a well-reputed cabling division, thereby further expands and strengthens its existing team. The new team will take part in fortifying the network business in TOPNORDIC, and TOPNORDIC will hereby be the leading vendor in the area of the optic fibre industry in Denmark.
”This is a natural extension of our current cabling division and the rest of our network business. Our cabling division is also a natural extension of our other integration businesses because, among other things, we design and build server rooms, which includes lay out, hardware, UPS and cooling. Moreover, the cabling unit is often the entrance point for implementation of total network solutions combined with our Cisco businesses,” says CFO Martin Trolle, TOPNORDIC, and he continues:
”We expect that the acquisition will increase our total turnover by 40 million DKK. We are certain that this is the right direction for the cabling and network division at TOPNORDIC since we will become a crucial player in the market for fibre optic communication and especially since this market is experiencing strong growth.”
Cablux and TOPNORDIC see large Danish market for optic fibre communication
Cablux has attained a significant position in the market for the development of IT communication in Denmark with more than 20 years of experience in the area. The fact that the business now becomes part of TOPNORDIC is the natural next step.
”Our position in the market demanded that we team up with another company to attain the growth that we believe is natural for the market. There is a large potential in fibre optic communication in Denmark. Even though many energy companies have worked intensively to provide consumers with fibre optic communication, the total number of Danish households with this kind of fibre optic communication is only 25,000. Our goal is to count more than a million households,” says Sales Manager, Henrik Mütze, Cablux.
Henrik Mütze, Cablux, will continue at TOPNORDIC in the area of business development and sales, and he has great expectations for the new cooperation.
