(Denmark) July 11 2007 – TOPNORDIC A/S has today acquired pcs-gruppen A/S. The acquisition provides TOPNORDIC’s clients with an even stronger local presence in southern Denmark. pcs-gruppen will continue its business with the same management under the TOPNORDIC brand.
With more than 30 IT specialists pcs-gruppen has until today been the leading IT infrastructure provider in southern Denmark. Pcs-gruppen focuses on IT consulting within the areas of telephony, infrastructure, security, service and operations to financial management systems, and network.

TOPNORDIC has branches all over Denmark and with the acquisition of pcs-gruppen TOPNORDIC is now also represented in Rødekro in southern Denmark.

Furthermore, we have for a long time wanted to be present in the southern part of Denmark because it is an area experiencing significant growth. We estimate that our annual turnover will increase by MDKK 85 as a result of the acquisition,” says CFO Martin Trolle, TOPNORDIC.
TOPNORDIC – strong focus on local presence
For many years the trend has been for companies to reduce the number of local branches. TOPNORDIC is however doing the exact opposite, because the experience from the IT infrastructure business is that co-operating locally with the clients is of great value.
”TOPNORDIC’s strategy is to be close to the client. In spite of or maybe even because of the increased use of e-mail, instant messaging and internet, personal contact becomes more and more important. This is why we, through the acquisition of pcs-gruppen, choose to invest in the south of Denmark,” says Martin Trolle.
With local presence it will also be possible to attract talented consultants in the local area.
