UDI has entered into an agreement with Avenir for development of a ”web based solution for information exchange between the reception centres for asylum seekers and UDI”. The agreement has a value of approx. MNOK 3.5 (including maintenance).
The solution will simplify, improve and increase the efficiency of the information exchange between the reception centres and UDI, and also contribute in making the information material at the centres more complete, which again provides increased quality of the data acquisition. Furthermore, the solution will contribute to increase the efficiency of the work routines. The project will gradually also build a reception registration system for all information exchange between the centres and UDI.
Central parts of the solution are based on web services and service oriented architecture (SOA). The web services will be integrated with the case administration system at UDI in addition to integration with the ERP system for data, which forms the basis for the financial transactions.
The solution will fully make use of the possibilities within service oriented architecture, and UDI’s chosen platform for such development is Microsoft .NET.

The development of the solution will be divided into phases where each phase should give profit realization. Avenir had the best offer within all our evaluation criteria,” says Rebekka Gundhus, Project Manager in UDI.
